Meet the team – Scott Barber

Scott Barber, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Bringing extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge from a hospitality and technology background, Scott joined us in May 2021 as CCO to help with the rebrand from PKF Hospitality to Quantaco.

As a change facilitator, Scott’s focus is on market growth, product development, business planning and corporate excellence for Quantaco.

What are your key responsibilities and what do you enjoy the most?

If I were to put it into hospitality terms, I look after our ‘front of house’, which includes sales, marketing and product development.

The part I enjoy the most is that Quantaco is at such an exciting stage of its development. We have expanded rapidly and this means adding value to our clients in new ways such as insurance and capital. But also expanding the use of technology both on behalf of, and for use by, our clients. Being able to facilitate this is what I do best.

Which aspects of the company values do you most connect with?

I am passionate about all of our values; customer-obsessed, curious, creative and collaborative. Our success is born out of how they are interrelated with each other.

Three words that best describe you:

Customer-obsessed, curious, collaborative (OK, so I borrowed from our values, but I told you I was passionate about them).

What’s a fun fact that others might not know about you?

I have a degree in hotel management. Little did I know back then that I would work for a company that specialises in hospitality!
