The annual QHA (Queensland Hotels Association) Awards 2022 for Excellence was celebrated this year with a gala dinner on Monday the 13th of June. As sponsors, we were honoured to be among the 1,700 attendees in the Great Hall at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC).

The Categories & Winners
The QHA Awards for Excellence are a prestigious achievement for any Queensland venue because it showcases those who not only go above and beyond in service but are pillars in the communities they serve.
There was a range of awards up for grabs and well-deserving finalists across a variety of categories including Best Bistro, Best Family Dining, Best Draught Beer, and Best Environmental & Energy Efficiency Practise.
Special congratulations to our friends and clients at the The Prince Consort Hotel who took out two awards; Best Hotel Bar and Responsible Service of Gaming.
But there could only be one winner in each category. Three of the most notable awards included Hotelier of the Year, 2022 which was awarded to Melinda Tait, Regional Hotel of the Year which went to Central Lane Hotel and Best Hotel Group operator which went to Katarzyna.

Quantaco Celebrates in Style
On the night were Quantaco’s own Scott Barber, John Kay, Nick Bova, and Reeve Ransfield. On top of networking with our industry partners, they enjoyed a delicious three-course meal and wonderful entertainment (as well as a few drinks too!).
It was amazing to be a part of the celebrations as well as be able to support alongside the other sponsors of the night. Congratulations to the finalists and winners!
